  ANNOUNCEMENT: AS OF TODAY PARTY CENTRAL RADIO WILL HAVE A NEW ELEMENT ADDED . THE PARTY CENTRAL RADIO INDIE ALLIANCE. We are committed to furthering the artists that are working tirelessly and producing beautiful music. Over the course of the next few weeks we will be rolling out a weekly TOP 10/Top 15 list of Indie songs that WE HAVE RECEIVED from Indy Artists. We are at the moment completing the final touches on this plan. You may send as many files as you choose to, and we will be happy to provide air play, but let us know 1) which is the latest song you have produced and the 2nd Song if any you would like listed on our weekly chart. Two songs are the limit for the weekly listing, however we will play all songs that are received. We will focus on having at least two Indie Shows per week, and some of the DJs have plans on how they will incorporate into their daily shows.   partycentralradio.net WHAT IS THE BIRTH RIGHT AND GENERATIONAL RIGHT OF INDIE MUSIC? WHAT EXACTLY IS INDIE MUSIC? WHICH ARTISTS ARE INDIE ARTISTS?  Now please do bear in mind I stated above these are musings, so don't blame me for the long and detailed explanation here.  I get asked quite often what is an Indie Artist or more specifically what do you consider an Indie Artist to be?   That's actually an easy answer but difficult answer and this is based on my thoughts and not what the music producers, or the music critics and such in the main stream media have to say.  Indie music started off as Artists that self-produced or paid to produce their own music.   I.E., they were not signed with a label and in the beginning was more of a Indie Rock cultural feel.   A few examples off the top of my head would be would be - The Buzzcocks (The first example in the UK); The Pixies, REM, The Smiths, Fallout Boy, ..  What transpired after the orig...

  Chuck Melchin and The Bluest Sky Band  have produced a "CHARITY DRIVE by creating a new song and offering the track for sale to support the Asheville, NC Animal Rescue.   There were many animals that were rescued after the hurricane Helene sent the North Carolina into a total disaster zone.  Some towns have been completely washed away and Asheville was hit very hard.  Displaced dogs, cats, bear cubs, small wild cats and many other animals have been rescued by workers and animal lovers.  Asheville Animal Rescue desperately needs donations to continue covering the needs of the area.   That "The Bluest Sky Band" has offered up their song royalty free to the shelter is a true act of love and shows the Spirit of Appalachia.   Some of you may know Chuck Melchin from his former group The Bean Pickers Union.  His latest Band  started with their debut album back in 2023 titled "The Bluest Sky.  They have since produced their...
